I have to agree with trip286 about the Taurus eating hot loads. I own three Taurus 45's and a 9mm and all of them have eat some loads that were loaded at the top and I've not had a single problem. I also own rugers and love them but again the Taurus selling point is the muzzle break which I find really reduces muzzle flip and recoil.

Hey, spitinfire, what kind of price can you do on the Taurus 357 mag with 4 inch barrel? Can you beat $425.00?

dave my tracker 44 has a ported 4" barrel, and it does make a difference in shooting and being able to control the gun. i can even shoot mine with magnum loads one handed, i can't do this with one thats not ported! i do enjoy shooting mine and it's fun round to reload for.
