I just got an SP101 2.25" and I have large hands, even though it's a smallish grip, it fits my hand like a glove, the rubber grip allows my pinky to just barely hang on without slipping. I have been overall surprised with it's accuracy and trigger pull, It's double action trigger pull is so predictable that it's just as accurate in double action as it is in single action if you are the kind of person that likes to stage the hammer.

The Monogrip makes a huge difference.

In my hands the LCR took a long time to get used to. I prefer guns with a hammer. I have been shooting single action revolvers for years. I am very confident I will pull the hammer back as I raise the gun, unless someone is bashing in my skull.

I have never pocket carried the SP101. I have pocket carried larger guns such as the S&W model 10. One should be able to pocket carry a SP101. They might have to wear suspenders, but they still would need the suspenders if they carried the gun OWB.

One advantage I have over most people when it comes to pocket carry is I am a big fellow. My pockets are large enough for my large hands. I have a G19 in my pocket right now.

I carry my SP 101 OWB and it did take some time to get used to the weight while holstered. The Monogrips made a world of difference with the heavy loads and over all feel in my hand. While it is a great gun I am sure it would also make a great hammer if need be. Being the first of the month she is in the nude getting ready for her bath and shine along with the others. Kroil is great for getting the char off the front of the cylinder and barrel.

Default SP101 vs LCR - what are Pros Cons?

JOHN,..Is that a G19 in your Pocket, or are you just Glad to See Her??? ;-)

She(THE Boss) wants the Hammered one now(Edit: LCR-X), or the Taurus M85 or 605 Poly,..Or the Charter UC.....

Any Time she put the SP in her Bag it was too Heavy....(Edit: ITMT she's carrying My Colt Cobra, one of the Many Guns I inherited from My Dad & Uncle...It's lighter,.and it's a 6 round.....
