I am a fan of the .45 Colt, and when this Model 45-5 came wandering through the classifieds, I couldnt hardly contain myself. Apparently the .45 scared people off because the owner kept relisting it until he had it down to half of his original price, and at what it was actually worth. I met him at the Dairy Queen and bought him an icecream and this pistol

I have targeted it out to 80 yards so far, and it is still pretty well on at that range.....I am impressed with it, it is a large handful to say the least.

Just never ran across a "deal" on one :(

I'm not in Tennessee,,,I'm from where Quantrill and Anderson are considered folk hero's. I'm 20 miles from the center of the nation, halfway between Paradise and The Garden of Eden. Really.

That picture of mine didnt come out like I planned, I had just cleaned and wiped it down with oil, and it looks all dirty. I need to check my lighting....the oil smudges on the case do not show up when you look at them,,,must be like flash bulbs making clothes appear transparent......hm

It does look like crap on a stale cracker--
I best make a beer run 'n come get it :p

I'll get it shiny before you get here,,,,either bring a lot of beer or some of that foldin green stuff, you might just go home with it....if not, we'd have a hell of a party.
