Default Single six price

Just curious if someone could tell me what would be a good price for a ruger single six with about a 10" barrel on it. Seen one in a local gun shop today. Thanks in advance for any help!

It depends on the model, and when it was made. A "three screw" model (made from around 1961 to about 1971 or so) is worth more than a used new model; the "flattop" models, made prior to the earrly 60's, are worth even more. Plus, there are some varients that are worth more.

I recently got a 1969 Super Single Six Convertible (adjustible sights and the .22 and .22 mag cylinders) for $350.00, which imo was a pretty good deal 00 $350 is what I wiould expect for a used new model.

Thanks for the info. I didnt pay that much attention to it but I thought the tag had "new model" on it. They had it priced for 495.00. Looked very nice but with todays prices I wanted to check! Might wait for it to drop a little.

The Single Six models are great revolvers, I especially like the older versions without the transfer bar.

I gave $425 for a brand new Single Six convertable about 6 months ago. If this one is used it seems high.

Not today's pricing, but I got a used single 6 about a year ago for 300. 8 inch barrel and scope 22lr. It was a newer production.
