Single-Six,I Do Not Regret Buying
1 Attachment(s)
When I bought my Ruger Single Six I was hesitant because I didn't especially like the looks of old western style revolvers, but many people online, including this forum said how good they are,so I chose function over appearance, and I am glad I did.I have put at least 3000-4000 rounds through it since February, and it has only ever misfired about twice, and that was the ammo I was using I think cause both misfires were Remington ammo.It is a fun gun and I have got to the point where I am almost as accurate at 50 yards as I am with my iron sight .22 rifle.I even put holes through setup milkjug caps at 25 yards.I like the LR cylinder better because of the handfuls of ammo I can plink with all day,but the magnum cylinder is cool too If I want to explode water jugs or something;).Buy a Single Six if you don't own one,you won't regret it.

That's a great endorsement for a great revolver. I'm glad you like it so much.

It's a really fun revolver, I've had one for years. Glad you like it.

I'm inclined to agree.

Got one too...
I received my Dad's Single-Six about 11 years ago, after He passed away. Have shot probably 200 rounds of .22LR. through it. Have not shot it with the Mag. cyl. yet-but-I may?? Great outdoors carry piece..:)

I got a 9" Heritage Arms Rough Rider convert for about $85.00. Fixed the hand, cylinder stop. After a rust removal session, gave it a "Krylon" finish. Shoots great with both cylinders, but I don't expect it to be as good as the Ruger.

You cannot go wrong with a single six. It's a great 22 pistol.

I like the gun so much that if I ever invest in a deer handgun,it's going to be the super blackhawk in .44 mag,the one that is almost identical to the single six, that way I can practice all year with the single six and then get a deer with the .44mag.

You may want to practice with the .44, there is a difference.

Ruger Single Six
I love nearly all Ruger products. I have the Single Six in Stainless and it is so cool. Once you start shooting the .22mag you will grin like a kid with a new sling shot. I am really liking the .22mag cylinder. The .22LR cylinder is also good but the big bang of the .22mag just does it for me.
