The only single action revolver that I have is my Heritage Arms Rough Rider. I have to admit that I have more fun shooting it than most that I have!

This is a stock photo...btw..no pics on the computer I am using!

Yeah, I'm a sucker for single-actions---particularly old-style SAs---used to have quite a collection of "Old Model" Rugers---mostly orig Flatops---got thru that phase but still kept a couple---a super nice 357 and a 44 Mag that was shortened to 4 3/4"---both Flatops. Had a few Colt SAAs and New Frontiers---down to a couple of SAA 44 Specials (4 3/4 & 5 1/2"). Finally, a couple of Freedom Arms 454s---4 3/4 & 6 1/2" Premier models. Oh, and can't forget my little Colt Peacemaker 22/22Mag, just for fun...

Nice collections, guys...

I was looking at a ruger single six stainless with the swappable cylinders; .22 LR and .22 mag. Nice looking pistol, I am seriously considering purchasing it. I don't own a wheel gun and this seems like a pretty sweet option to consider.
Any thoughts you all?

Ruger is a great firearm. I've replyed to some other post about the single six, I also at one time had every single six that they made, when it comes down to different barrel lenghts. Do you want another fun gun to go along with the single six,,,,,,,,,,look at the Bearcat,,,,,very nice!
If the price is right, I'd buy it and never look back, have fun with the Single Six

They're asking $595 for the set. I haven't even shopped it the scary thing is the lack of ammo! I have not seen ANY .22 wmr reasonably priced PERIOD. there has been some .22 LR every once in a while and I have snagged some. But nothing right now.

Sounds a little pricey to me. I probably wouldn't expect to pay much more than $500 for one.
