I am getting a Simply Rugged holster for my SP101. Anyone else have one? Looks like a pretty stout OWB holster. I also ordered the loops for IWB. Hopes this works out.

Got mine in. It is going to be stout OWB. Not sure IWB will work.

Update on UWB straps. Don't bother. If you carry a revolver IWB, get a Crossbreed or something designed for it. Simply Rugged, great OWB holsters. Had mine on all day in hot sun, driving errands, etc. This is my SP101 carry holster. No freakin doubt.

The IWB Holsters I really like is the Galco King Tuk. I have one for my 3" barrel 1911. I think I'm going to get one for my Subcompact XD.

I bought the silver dollar pancake for my s&w 3 inch model 29, that I carry for back up while hunting it has six cartridge loops in front. I have used it for 5 years now , very comfortable, secure, while keeping the weapon very accessable. Simply Rugged builds a quality & durable product at a fair price

I have two Simply Rugged holsters....
One is the Cuda for my 1911. I also have the Chesty Puller shoulder rig and the IWB loops for that holster. I have worn it all ways - IWB, OWB & shoulder rig.
Excellent Holster. I will agree that a "better" IWB holster is one tailor made specifically for that. Instead of Crossbreed though, I went with a Tommy Thiess IWB holster. That is the best IWB holster that I have ever worn. Light & comfortable.
But for OWB & shoulder rig setup - the SR Cuda fits the bill nicely.

The other one I have is the Silver Dollar Pancake for my S&W .357 revolver. It also has the cartridge loops as well. Excellent holster.

I would buy another product from SR in a heartbeat.
