Selecting the right speed loader

I just got an HKS speed loader for my 357 mag for concealed carry and I really don't like it. I am considering a SafariLand COMP2 and I don't want any surpises. Any pros and/or cons on either?

Why don't you like the HKS? I use one for my Ruger Blackhawk .44 Special after clearing it when I take it off. I naturally don't use it to load my revolver.

But I do like the HKS for my Smiths as they are more positive in the release of cartridges than the Safariland I tried. The Safariland I tried (years ago) released by pressing in on the loader and never released easily, which made me go to HKS.

I prefer the SafariLand. Try 'em both; some folks do better with one over the other.

I have HKS too for the same guns ... I do a faster reload with "push to drop (SafariLand)" than a "twist to drop (HKS)0," YMMV.
