My fault for making an assumption. Though I tend to favor heavy for caliber bullets....like 300+ in the 44 mag.

The 180 is just my house load,I assumed that a 180 HP would not over penetrate, but I am also looking for some 300 gr hard cast ammo for hunting, haven't tried hard cast yet,but I tried the Hornady XTP 300gr HP and they're quite a handful(I think it's 13 lbs felt recoil vs 8 lbs with the 180gr)I'm just not sure what to get.

The nice thing about reloading is you don't have to try to make Buffalo Bore type ammo. A 300 grain bullet at more moderate velocity will still make big holes in everything, but doesn't have to break your wrist doing so.

I looked through alot of ammo but I did notice the Federal 300gr hardcast is only moving at about 1,150fps or something like that,I had consider them and they were a little less than buffalo bore.

Just received a 357 magnum revolver from my pops. Sweet piece. Although it hasn't been cleaned in over 37 years. Any tips on the best way to clean it.

I'd recommend a rag or an old t-shirt.

When in doubt I always reach for WD-40.It has alot of cleaning properties yet it's not going to eat away at anything if you spray the whole thing down even in the internals.

All the S&W's displayed here are beautiful. Particularly those snubbies.
But, I have a Ruger revolver and it was made in the good ole USofA, too.
