I bought one of the M-63, I've shot it a few times.I got through Numrich Gunparts another M-63 cylinder. I had a gunsmith friend ream it for the 22 mag.I haven't fired this little jewel in years.I put a set of Pachmyers on mine. They are a nice little gun.

Shooting the colibri feels like shooting a cap pistol. Using my little 7 yd. range in the garage, the colibri shoots over an inch low compared to .22 LR.

DefaultSearal Number

Hi All,

I ran across and purchased a S&W Model 63 (6 shot 22LR Revolver - No dash). I've been trying to find something out about it. S&W wants $50 for the history, that's a bit steep. I'm hoping someone might have a book on it and be able to tell me when it was made? The serial on the bottom of the grip is M120607.

Great little revolver. Shoots better at 15 yards than my new Ruger P95 Not that I'm a great shot but I can put all 6 in a 3" group with it. My Ruger is about 6 but I'm still learning. Besides at $3/50 vice $12/50 is cheaper and just as much fun.

Thanks for any assistance.

DefaultCalled S&W

I called S&W. Paul looked up my Model 63 Seral Number. He told me that he couldn't give me an exact date but could give me a ball park. It was made in either 1978 or 1979. It looks good and shoots good for being 31 years old. You'd never know it by looking at it. Thanks all.
