What do you want it for? .45 Colt ammo is not cheap, .410 ammo is not cheap, .45 ACP ammo is not cheap. It is big for a snub nosed .45, it is short for a .410.

Only use I can think of is as a bedside gun, though I think there are better options for one.

I definitely think the whole idea behind a Governor / Judge is just a novelty gun. It doesn't really fill a niche. Some people say its an up close and personal SD gun. You won't be able to hit much with .410 with a gun that size.

So maybe use it as a .45 acp or .45 colt. Well, there are much better sized / priced options out there.

Bedside gun? Maybe. But in my room theres about 10 feet between my bed and the door. Maybe too far for .410 at that range?

Truck gun? I could see that, maybe. Only because you know it's gonna be an up close and personal kinda situation.

I personally wouldn't spend $695 on a gun like that, although of course the Governor is gonna be better than the Judge. If you want it for a novelty type item, have at it bud!

Mostly for a novelty and fun. I've found some .410 for short money. It just looks like a fun revolver

I think they would work great for a snake/fishing gun

You could look at the Taurus Judge and spend the money you save on ammo.

I have a hard time justifying the purchase of one for myself.
