Default S&W bodyguard 38

Been lurking for awhile and finally decided it was time to post.
Mistake 1. Bought my wife a S&W bodyguard 38 revolver for her to carry when our conceal and carry comes in. Yup. She hates it.
She likes a more full size revolver, but has not shot one yet. She has her eyes on the Ruger SP 101 357.
I plan on selling the 38, but am not sure what to ask for it. I've looked online and prices seem to be all over the place. Can anyone tell me what to expect to get out of it realistically?

New is $400 or so so I think you would be alright asking $300-$325 to move it maybe a little more depending on the person but you won't get that from a shop. That would be you selling it yourself.

That's where I was thinking it would fall. Thanks for the info. Better sell quick. I just got on a short waiting list for the shield!
