I haven't seen one in person for less than a thousand. I HAVE seen them online for usually around 8, but I think the cheapest I've seen was about 650.

I also heard lots of sad stories of people buying the gun at those outragous prices just to have one because of the movie, then never fire it because of the stories of it breaking wrists etc.I'll tell ya,if I was old enough to own a 44m in the 70s i'd shoot it everyday,I don't know what ammo would have cost back then but it would have to have been more affordable that $30 a box like it is now!

Awesome topic to come across and read and follow along with......felt like I was right there "pulling for you" after each seasoned member came along replied on how much of a great deal it was and were wondering why you hadn't taken it home yet. Glad it was still there for you when you went back. Christmas in July Mr. Vincent, congrats !!!!!

Thanks buddy! I kinda thought it might still be there, they closed for the day shortly after I left the first time and I was the first one there in the morning when they opened back up.

That's why this forum is the best there is. Just so many great people...much MUCH smarter than me so if they say go for it, I go!
