Oops, looks like the 629-1 is not P&R, at least Hillary didn't get her mitts on it.

I paid $640 for a new 629 Mountain Gun Solid Cylinder about 8 years ago. Don't think you can touch a new one under $900

Buy it

Default A new mouth to feed...

Well, that was pretty easy...Thanks to all for the advice... I NEVER find sweet deals like this so my pessimism got the best of me...for about 12 hours Take a wild guess who their first customer of the day was...

Strangest thing about it, I wasn't even looking to buy anything, just browsing a shop I'd never been in before...(That's my story and I'm stickin' to it! ) I about busted a spring spending that much dough on something that's not my mortgage...I guess I'll just have to get over it! Came with 100 WWB practice ammo, 20 Federal JHP Hydra Shoks and 50 or so .44 special flat nose FMJ...I figure I'd spend at least that much on ammo anyways so I told myself the gun was only $500.

Gun porn (pron) for ya...and THANK YOU again to all, your comments were very much appreciated!!!

That's a sweet wheelie! You didn't mention the presentation box, authentic ones are sometimes worth $100 alone. Best of luck.

Vincent,

I apologize for miss leading you, those hog leg Smiths are worth less than a used Hi Point. I'm really sorry for letting you get hosed like that. In fact I feel so bad that I'm willing to take the bath myself. PM me so we can get together and I'll hand you the $600 you paid for thing and just take it off your hands.

Again, I feel real bad dude.

Seriously though, beautiful gun and a great deal, congrats!

Tack

Way back in 1970 I found a Mdl.29-1 "S" Ser.#. I had to pay $500 dollars for it. Back then $500 was out of sight for a Six Gun. I borrowed it from my credit union and paid on it for ever. That said the old .44 is retired and lives in my safe. But Damn every time I open the safe and see that old Smith the memiores that flash in mind was worth every dime I paid for it. Keep you 629 for a long time make some memory.
