Ruger Security Six?
Anybody out there have one of these? Never see one at gun shows or online.
I have one , stainless with 6" barrel and target sights and wood target grips.
My First handgun when I turned 21. Save my money and could not wait till I was 21 to go and buy it. that was 27 years ago. Still have it, not the box unfortunately, but gun is in GREAT shape.

I had one for many years and they were the predecessor or the GP100 series. Great guns and built like tanks...

At the time I was looking at the S&W model 19. I had heard issues about the 19's 357 calibre being on a .38's frame. Just as I purchased my ruger i had a guy I worked with had his model 19 lock up on him with 3 rounds still live in the cylinder. I was damned glad I got the ruger.

I heart my Security Six, got one for my daughter, like to find another for my wife. I think it's the perfect handgun for everywhere but where I live. With a 4" barrel it's light, compact, easy to carry and VERY accurate. I've never understood why Ruger expanded it into the GP100. A solution in search of a problem, I always thought.

I love Ruger .357's and a 4" stainless Security Six is my favorite of the bunch.

I love Ruger wheel guns, especially the Security Six.
My dad has one that I covet very much.

I do not have a Security Six, but I do have a Service Six and a pair of Speed Sixes. Great revolvers.
