DefaultRuger Redhawk price

I looked at a new stainless Redhawk yesterday, 7.5" barrel, $679. Is that a decent price nowadays?

Not sure, but I would look for used one. Should be able to get it for a bit less. Redhawk Hawks are hard to wear out

That's an average price... I found them a little higher & a little lower for brand new. I am assuming you are looking at a 44 Mag?

Lots of them here: http://www.gunsamerica.com/Search/Ca...dhawk-Type.htm

Yes, the .44 Mag. It's not the gun, but the current price of ammo that's scaring me from getting it, or even a used one. Thanks for the reply.

Yeah, I just picked a NIB Blackhawk .44 mag 50th anniversary (bad spell?) with a left handed thigh holster and 20 rounds of ballistic tip ammo all for about $525. Happy except I really didn't want it blued, I wanted stainless, but every other one I came across seemed to vanish quickly.
