Default Ruger lcrx or s&w 638 airweight

I want a snubby bad and these are the two i am most fond of. Any thoughts on either? i like the classic look of the 638 but dig the trigger of the lcrx. Price is pretty close so i consider it a non issue

Can't speak about any Smiths, but my early impressions of my new LCRx are all good. The light weight carries like a dream, but will say that with full house +P loads the Hogue Tamer style grip is quite welcome. I also installed the green fiber optic front sight since the photo. To me it is the perfect little carry gun.

You kinda answered your own topic. Its a carry gun and you like the trigger on the lcr. Looks are irrelevent in a self defense firearm. What's important is, is it a gun you will carry and do you like the controls and can hit with it. Buying a gun your staking your life on because it looks cool is prolly not a wise decision making step.

Get the one that feels good and has controls and grip and functions how you want.
