Default Ruger LCR-X

Just got an email saying Ruger introduced a new model to the LCR. This ones called the LCR-X and it seems the only difference is it now has a hammer, allowing it to be fired in single action. The Ruger website only lists it in 38 special +p. I love my LCR, this one seems pretty cool. Has anyone else seen this? What are your thoughts?

Cool. I've been wanting an LCR in .357 Magnum. Maybe they'll make the X model in .357.

Sounds interesting, but one of my favorite features is the "hammerless" aspect. Its a great conceal gun, especially for a .357. For plinking the SA part may be nice though...

I got an email about that also. It looks like it would be a great little revolver. Will have to wait and see what the price is gonna be for the exposed hammer.

I just ordered a S&W 351PD because the LCR couldn't be fired single action. Wouldn't you know it! Oh well...another gun I'll have to buy! Curses! LOL

Just got the e-mail as well, about time Ruger got w the program. Never was a fan of the DAO; always seemed too limiting and I've never had an issue w catching on clothing. Maybe I was just lucky.

Hopefully, they will make it in all the LCR calibers. I'd like a 22 mag.

Does anyone besides Taurus make a 22 Mag w a 4-6" barrel ? Just read too many horror stories about that brand but I can't recall one that involved 22's. Then again, my memory isn't what its used to be....
