Default Ruger GP100 trade?

Looking at a trade for a GP100 6" NIB with Bianchi leather, Fobus paddle holster, 4 speed loaders with pouches.

Guy wants my SA 1911 Loaded. It comes with the SA gear and 2 7 round mags. Hadn't really thought about trading this gun but I have my BIL's Colt on loan and I have had the thought of eventually trading my SA up into a Colt or other 1911.

Guy is offering all the Ruger GP stuff listed and $100. I think his side is a little light on value. I don't really need the holsters but it's a package.

Would you guys and gals do the deal or hold out for more?

How is it NIB with holster & such?

I think he is a bit light on his end. I have a 6" GP100, blued, that I picked up for ~$400 a couple of years ago; it does have some oil mark on the hammer. I have an elcheapo shoulder holster for my revolver; how often do you expect to carry a 6" revolver?

It is unfired. The problem is that I don't value the holsters much as I don't see carrying the gun. Nice accessory items but I have a 686 4" and I still consider it to large for anything but winter carry.

The best price I have seen a stainless 6" for is $550. I might be better off waiting and buying one without the holsters and such.

Not a 6" but I bought a 4" SS for $300. Not new in box but in great shape and you can't wear these guns out.

He upped his offer to $140 and I still couldn't do it.

His last offer was the GP100 and a NIB Heritage .22 Combo. I don't really need another .22 revolver but in terms of value it is pretty good. My issue is that I really only have one 1911 .45 and I will quickly be in the market for another if I trade my SA.

prices of GP100 have gone as its rep has cemented itself eveyr year.
There is a bit of a shortage of them.

a NIB GP 100 is worth about $600.
Bianchi holsters are pretty nice too!

I would keep the 1911 for now. You only have the one, and you already ave the 686. My opinion, the 686 is a nicer gun than the Ruger. Don't get me wrong, Rugers are wonderful guns. But a 686p is my favorite.

So you already have a revolver and only one 1911 at present. To merits a no brainier unless you're trying to consolidate calibers.

Plus, as is mentioned, he's a little light on his end.

I am gonna disagree w/ most other and say his value offer is pretty not light.
As someone who wheels and deals a lot on in my gun forums his final offer exceeds $1000 trade value

Have 2 same caliber guns also has an inherent attraction.

Just trying to put the counterpoint out there a bit...
