The closest thing to a bear around here is a huge old hairy lady up the road and i don't think a 44 would take her out lol !

$500 is a good price if it's in good shape. I'd consider it.

sonic it's in perfect shape. I am seriously debating trading in my 357 for it and putting $150 boot cash I will still be ahead I see them selling for the $700 + range used. on a 1-10 it's a 8 it's in good shape I took 2 off for being fired before.

It's an emergency Bear Gun...not much other use. And at 45ozs. it's a club as well. It wood be a trail gun for me in the Northwoods. Not sure of your situation.

honestly it would be a gun to show friends and say look what I have lol. Kinda like a sexy girlfriend show her off and use her every now and then and the rest of the time have to just know it's there lol

it's a dang good price if you have need of it or if was of use to you. but a 2.5" barreled 44 Mag. is not exactly a range gun! but it would make a bear stand up and take notice! if you have no real need for it, then IMO, it would be money wasted, because it would probably spend more time in a gun safe.

personally myself i shy away from guns that i would not use on regular basis or have a particular need for them, irregardless of the price. much better to spend the money on something that would be used and enjoyed.

Well I traded a bersa 9mm for a taurus judge poly protector yesterday and the judge will make a home invader stand at attention. A 44 for home defense may not be good if i kiss and hit the house next door lol
