Ugly? Yes. Practical? Heck yes!
These guns have less muzzle flip because it fires from the bottom of the cylinder instead of the top, which puts the bore axis more inline with your hand.
Also the cylinder has been sort of "squared off", it's octagonal shape cuts down on the bulky profile that most revolver cylinders have, thereby making it a more practical and comfortable carry gun.
Just my $0.02.

They seem to be talked about alot in the gun community. I doubt you would lose much money if you bought one to try it out and didnt like it.
I am not a revolver guy but I love the form follows function styling.

Okay, I learned a little more about this weapon. Now, I think I'd like to shoot it, but I don't think I'd buy it. Pops

It's so ugly, I want one! You don't have to shoot the BG; just show him your gun, and you can walk away while he's laughing!

I must be depraved or something but I like the way it looks.
Yes I would like to shoot it also but don't know about buying another gun.

I have to say, I'm definitely in the minority here. Love the looks and the whole concept of a truly unique design. Not so much the 2 inch model, but I think think the 40-60DS are great looking guns.
