Default Revolver trade??

My friends wife wanted my Ruger MarkIII 22 w/red dot sight for her S&W 357 mag.(mod 581-2) w/4 boxes of ammo. Even trade! She wanted something easier to shoot. So I did it, but I know nothing about revolvers!! So I'm asking you guys did I do good or not? Thanks

Horrible trade, I'll take it off your hands for $50. Kidding obviously, great job my friend

Take that 581 and run away! You made an outstanding trade as long as both parties are happy. The Smith is worth much more than the Mk III.

My LGS has many Mark IIIs in stock. I would load up on Rugers and make that trade all day long and twice on Sunday. I'd say almost a 2:1 value trade and maybe more if those ammo boxes were 50 packs

Thanks for the input. She and I are both happy with the trade. Luckily I had 2 of those Rugers.
