Sweet Colt!!! For only having one it is a heck of a great one to have.
My Dad gave it to me, and my Grandfather gave it to him as part of a wedding gift.

Please note the color of the barrel and cylinder do you guys have any idea why its this color?
It looks like it has been reblued.
I think Smith & Wesson still does factory re-bluing.

We are all biodegradable.
To my knowledge that revolver has not been reblued it is in perfect shape I am the second owner yes it's been a duty gun all of its life but does not show much holster where.
If it was reblued wouldn't you think the whole gun would look like that.

Always have clean socks.
These S&W "N" frame magnums had case hardened frames, cylinders, Barrels etc. Old case hardening turns blue to a purple in time. Look at some of the old Sako, and Winchesters. Please do not refinish.
