I should have snatched the one similar to that I found for $150...

Not nearly as pretty, and maybe not the same model, but beside the engraving, it looked like the same model. It was VERY rough though. Lots of rust, very minor surface rust, but it covered an easy 60%, and the cylinder was loose.

I love Smith's as well and yours is a beauty. My brother has the same grips like yours on his Colt OM Target with custom King sights with the front sight having a mirror to reflect more light. His bluing doesn't set those grips off like yours does with the nickel. Just lovely!
