I would like to have a revolver but im very picky on what I want. How hard is it to find a revolver that is double action with both cylinders .22 LR and .22 Mag

I only know of single action .22 revolvers. Maybe someone will come along who can give you more information.

YES!
All the H&R convertibles are double action .
All well built and all mine are very good shooters also!
Watch the auctions, and you can still find them in excellent condition, still reasonably priced, but the values have been rising steadily!

The only one that comes to mind with both cylinders and double action is the Charter Arms Pathfinder,there is a version of that double action revolver with both a .22LR and .22Mag cylinder but it runs about $100 more than the standard .22LR only version.You're looking at about $400 new for the .22LR/.22Mag convertible.

I would be satisfied with the tauraus but would prefer a more western style gun

If you want a true western style, you'll want to look at a single action.
