Thanks I got to do one but I don't want charge. There is no one round that does it so I was tring to get a price. I don't want charge to much.

Keep in mind that if you are doing gunsmithing and you take in a firearm, have it for more than a 24 hour period, you "MUST" be an FFL and enter it into your A&D records. If you don't, you are in violation of federal law. Not worth the risks involved.

What he said up there ^^^. Do it for free- hobby. Charge for it- you are gunsmithing, 01 FFL needed.

My local smith polished and hot blued a S&W Mdl 36 for me- $130. REALLY nice polish- did not round over sharp angles, dish out the screw holes, or mess up lettering. Good polishing is key to good bluing. COLD blue of an entire gun is like kissing your cousin- better than nothing, but still leaves a lot to be desired.

Mine charges $125 if there is no "extra" polishing required.
WELL worth it on both ends---
