Default rear site for s&w wheel gun

Hi I'm looking for a rear sight for a s&w m27 revolver. I had one break when I got it from the factory. My gun dealer has been looking a week now and I'm ready to bring my baby home.
Any help would be much appreciated

From the factory? Is this a re-intro or original? What does S&W say?

I'm sorry its not a s&w factory more like a surplus arms or other business that resales guns. I believe this was pd trade in

Post a pic of the top of the revolver. There have been a couple varients over the years. Exact model and "dash" number (27-2).

I have an N-frame rear sight assembly that I could be talked out of.

Sorry, I just used my last K-frame rear sight assembly. Smith and Wesson can provide you with one. It will not be cheap, though

Check with Southern Ohio Guns or Centerfiresystems for what could be called "gunsmith" specials.

There are times they have such parts available as "removed" items.

they sell them often on Ebay. I don't have a complete one right now. I do have a couple of bases though.

Didn't see one on sogs but went to shooters specialties and got one. Isn't the sight on a 19-6 about .160? Sorry but my android phone is being fixed and my phone company gave me a crappy blackberry so can't take pics right now
