poll: S&W snubby's vs Ruger snubby's

i couldn't put it any simpler than the title. what's your opinion and why?

I Know that Smiths snubs are very good firearms but i have always felt more comfortable with my sp101 as my back up gun. It has served its duty amazingly with no hassle...

I have no problem with either one, but if money isn't a factor then Smith & Wesson is the pistol of choice... especially a Performance Center version.

Agree with mark. Performance Center revolvers are pretty nice.

I agree with Mark, too, but I would reverse his conclusion: with its lower price I'd go with the Ruger (and did).

I like them both and hove owned both. For shooting mostly .357's go with the Ruger. For .38's or .38 +P's go with the Smith. The Ruger is definitely a heavier revolver if weight is a consideration.

That's what forums are all about.

Ruger SP101 all the way. I love the rock solid design of the weapon.

I am a little biased because I have become a pretty die-hard Ruger fan lately...lol.

I voted for Smith and Wesson. With that being said I would buy either one. I now own both Smiths and Ruger revolvers. I gave Smith the edge be it only by the width of a human hair
