What's to protect???

It's a DAO revolver.



It's a 10#+ trigger. What's to worry about?? Not being able to pull it when needed??

I have been thinking about it for my eventual carry gun. Is it hard to find .45 Auto Rim, or do you use clips?

EDIT: Just looked at the specs. 6 rounds of .45? That's going to be a very wide handgun. Do you carry IWB?

I use both, the AR cases for range use. I reload them.
For carry, I use a Full moon clip in the gun and half moons for potential reloads if the SHTF.
The width of the cylinder measured 1.7" Another carry gun I sometimes use is a Detonics .45 MK VI measured 1.25". I don't carry it IWB so the .45" diff in width doesn't bother me.
When it's hot I carry a Kimber Pro CDP II IWB though.
