Ruger Redhawk or Blackhawk in .44 mag
I also wouldn't mind a Ruger Vaquero .357 mag.

Taurus Model 66 357 mag 6" barrel, never failed me before I wouldn't have any trouble carrying it.

S&W M-29 6" (because I have one). Variety of ammo 180-240 gr jacketed, 200-300 gr cast, shotshells. Versitile for 2-4 legged vermin, predators (large and small), snakes, close range birds, etc.

Protection and food.
Me too for the 41mag. Would mind sharing that shot shell specs as I reload for the .41mag. My S&W Model 57 has served me well hear in southeast Indiana. Best regards

Despite the lack of abundance, during the great ammo drought it was among the "oddball" calibers still left on the shelves so in real shtf when all the popular calibers are once again hoarded one should be able to find these rounds relatively easy.
