Default Ok so i got this Dan Wesson I think model 15 4" .357 revolver

And I cant really find any information on it. i was wondering what year it is. but information on Dan Wessons on the internet is very vague. So was wondering if anyone could tell me what model and year it is for sure. even on the dan wesson forum they only had a few model numbers that were correlated to the year of the firearm. what I did find out Dan wesson revolvers are virtually unknow except for a small number of people who apparently hold them in very high regard and would argue they are one of the best shooters in the world. here is a picture and the serial is 1922xx again is a .357 ok for some reason the picture wont post

If it's a M15 it should be circa 1979.

To post picture- have it stored in your computer. When you are composing a post, look at the upper toolbar. To the right of the white smiley face is a paperclip. Click on the clip. Then browse, my pictures, select the picture, open, download, close. Then go back to the paperclip, and the file name will drop down. click THAT, and it inserts into the posting.

The Model 15 is a blued, adjustable sight .357. I do not have production dates, but I DO have a Model 15 I bought back about 1977- and IMHO, they are the most underappreciated revolvers made. Durable, reliable, excruciatingly accurate, built like a tank, and still pretty cheap.

I just thought it was super cool they were made by the great grandson of d.b. wesson cofounder of smith n wesson. and his goal from the outset was to make the Best most accurate gun the shooting world had ever seen match grade quality out of the box. I agree it has to be the most under valued under appreciated gon out there. I love mine has the heavy balanced barrel too

If its a DW i has to be good . Is it a monson or palmer. No picture so go over to dan wesson forum and check the hsite out. Lots of knowledge there and some info on history. There also one member that makes custom grips and EWK makes barrels shrouds ,wrenchs, springs, sights. All kinda nice stuff at a way lower cost than CZ wants. I have to 15-2 ,149*** and 299*** also a 44mag. Great shooters ,great hunting revolvers.
