I have been researching this for quite a while but have been unable to find a non-fluted 7 round cylinder for my 686-3. I've sent a note to the mothership but thought I'd ask here as you all may know where to find them on the shelf. I guess what I am looking for is a cross between a Classic Hunter and a 686 Plus. Any ideas?

Ok replying to own thread. Sent S&W an email 5 days ago with no response so I called them. No such animal. You can have a 7 round fluted or a 6 round non-fluted. That seems backward to me... I just may be the only person who gives a crap!
They have to hold the line somewhere I suppose. They are a mass producer of firearms and making EVERY possible combination would not be good for the bottom line.
