Nice. Me Like.

Excellent. We look forward to hearing a range report.

If I didn't already have an S&W 17, this would be very tempting.

Some guns are made for carrying and shooting too. i have two Smith J frames
: a 3" .357 and a 4" .22 . The .22 is a fun, easy to carry, easy to shoot, accurate, and inexpensive to shoot - firearm. The .357 is easy to shoot, accurate, and an excellent carry gun. Both spend more time on my hip than their larger brothers and sisters.
I believe you have chosen very well! Because it's a Ruger , I believe the only mistake you can make is to trade it for something better.

Nice one!

Outstanding on that! Have several Rugers Between me & DW! One of hers is the shorter tubed Sp101 Stainless in .357...It's her main SD/HD gun...But I also gave her my Late Dad's 1970's Security Six with the 5-1/4" Bull Barrel...
I think those are the "Houge Tamer" grips on yours as well! BEst of luck with it!:)
