My new S&W Pro Series 627
It's 8 shot .357 mag , and I colored in the engraving on either side of the barrel with crayola crayon to match the FO front sight.

Very nice wheel gun! You should give us a range report!

That's a good gun you've got there. I've got the 627 from the Performance Center with the 5" barrel and its probably my all around favorite pistol to shoot. Enjoy it!

I would've liked the performance center but when I found out all you gained by buying the PC was fine tuning and chrome hammer n trigger and minus a couple MIM parts the pro was no brainer . I would've liked to have had a 5" barrel but I carry this now and 4" is pretty intrusive to my junk at 12:30 appendix carry.
I do love it though . does your extractor cover stick ? I cant unscrew mine. I don't want to force it cause I had a mod 10-7 .38 I tried to get the extractor cover off n broke the threads off in the extractor. Anything I can do to loosen it up ?

Nice gun. I'm think of getting one like it, but with 6 inch barrel.

No, everything on mine is smooth and slick. I've never removed my ejector so I don't know how to help you there. Could be a slightly bent ejector that's causing it to stick. Have you tried a little oil?

You've never heard of that? I've used a white crayon to fill the dots on rear sights on cheap guns before. Cheap guns usually have cheap dot sights. The dots are either sticky paper and fall out or they turn yellow looking. Shaving a little white crayon off and packing it in the dot on the sight with a toothpick will make a world of difference.
Not a fan of using it in the engraving, but to each their own.
