DefaultMy birthday

for my birthday my dad got me a 22. callaber ruger singal six, which he suprised me with, and if the revolver its self wasnt good enuf it came with a 22. magnum cylinder and i couldnt be happier

Alijandro,

Sounds like you have a great Dad! Those are nice weapons. When I was young I also had one of them. The 22 and 22 mag is a nice combination. Can not remember what I did with it? Probably traded it for something new I wanted. But enjoy that and for some advise! Never get rid of it! Since Dad gave it to you it means so much more than just a normal weapon. And pass it on to your children in the future.

he says that if i want i should stick to 22. LR ammunition because the 22. mag is exspensive

I second the advice to never sell it. I have wanted to get a Single Six with both cylinders for each of my two boys since they were born. Haven't found them that I can afford yet though, or maybe they are asking too much for them.

Great gift. Cherish it.
