Most Innovative Revolver?
What modern revolver strikes you as the most innovative, most exciting, and most game changing?
I've narrowed it down to three that I think have really cool innovations: The Ruger LCR, Taurus Judge, and Ruger SP101 .327 Magnum. My reasoning is here:
Three Innovative Revolvers for 21st Century Shooters
Did I leave any really significant revolvers out? What's on your list?

That is a wild looking contraption. It supposed to be imported by Chiappa. It fires from the bottom chamber.

Dan Wesson.
While it's not a 21st Century revolver, it interchangeable "barrel under tension" system is definitely an innovative design.

Mr. Dardicks Automatic Revolver. Fired a triangular cross section plastic cartridge (the tround), could switch from .22 to .38 by changing only the barrel. They also experimented with one that used a SALVO cartridge- four shots at once.
The MBA Gyrojet Rocket pistol. Each cartridge was a .45 caliber solid fuel rocket. Recoil of a .22, power of a 45, accuracy of a thrown chair. Ammo was $6 a bang in 1965. Today? Don't ask!

I bet firing from the bottom of the cylinder really helps manage recoil. You learn something new everyday.
