Default model 64

I would like to remove the spur from the hammer on my S&W model 64 how would I be able to do this while keeping it operational?

Default spur removal

Removing the spur is fairly easy. Take the hammer out of the gun. It can be ground and then polished to smooth it off. As far as function - you essentially make the gun a double action only.
