Does anyone have any experience with this gun.

It turns out my grandfather has one and now he is dying. (asbestos damage)
we where never close he was a mean dunk who beat has wife and kids, so understandably they left him when they had the chance. Now there is a possibility that I will inherent this rare novelty, so i ask, if anyone knows anything useful, or interesting about it.

It's one of the guns on my wish list although I'd rather have one chambered in 454 Casull or 44 mag.

The Mateba Model 6 Unica or also called the Mateba Autorevolver is quite the engineering accomplishment in hand guns.

I would love to see any photos and hear more of the history of this revolver!

Keep us informed.

The Mateba Model 6 Unica is an engineering masterpiece, and a serious collectors item. It's worth a couple thousand dollars if it's in good shape. I'm with Cane on the photos and history, post 'em up ASAP.

I know almost nothing about the gun in question. All i know is that he keeps i by his bed at night (illegal in Sweden). and he used it to shoot a burglars once (also illegal). I think it is in quite good nick. he bought i expensively to use it for competition shooting, but the gun club said it was not a revolver, or a pistol, so he was not allowed to compete whit it. he got pissed and is keeping it in his bedside drawer instead.

other then that i have no knowledge about it.
