I like the S&W as it has a smooth trigger action when being shot. S&W has always produced a great firearm, especially their revolvers. The Model 629 is a great handgun to hunt with as well, depending upon what you are hunting, I do not think it is the wisest firearm to go after bears.

I don't get the need for a poll. Assuming you didn't debase yourself to obtain it, of course it's a good purchase.

Great looking S&W with the new grips my 629 came with a different set of grips that I bought in late 2010 I had problems with that one and S&W replaced it and the replacement came with those grips like yours.

I started to like this gun so much that I decided the 9mm is coming off the nightstand in favor of the 629.I got me some new ammo for that purpose too.

I say if you use magnum loads, use the heavy stuff I like Hornady's 300 grain XTP and 225 grain FTX, both are really good magnum loads. Nice looking hand-cannon man.
I'm already surrounded by half-dead brainless people already, the zombie apocalypse would just give me a reason to be productive and get rid of them.
