Have you taken a look at the Blackhawk! Serpa holster? I have one for my 2 1/2" cylinder Judge and, for my needs, it works very well. They also come in the 3" cylinder models.

As to the Judge, it certainly is a niche product and a compromise platform. I consider mine to be a "beater" tool, not an heirloom weapon, that I use for a snake gun in the boat or on the tractor or trail. I subject mine to sweaty, dusty conditions, and the Serpaź holster works well to prevent inadvertent loss of the weapon in the lake or under the bushhog, and can be easily cleaned afterward. If I'm not shooting shotshells I can step up to the .45 Colt, realizing that in all circumstances this is a short-range weapon. It's not very expensive and I'm not too concerned about using it under austere conditions. For me, it fulfills a need pretty well, and I'm happy with mine.
I have the Ultra-Lite, blued, 3" bbl model, which has been discontinued. Weighs in at 26 oz.
