DefaultJudge

I'm in the market for a Taurus Judge, but found out that the cylinder length is 2 1/2". I've been under the impression that a 410 shell is 2 3/4" long. How long is a standard 410 shell? Would I have to buy special shells to fit this gun?

2 1/2" and 3" are normal 410 gauge shells and can be found anywhere

If you can afford it, get the 3" mag version, then you won't have to worry about the shell length. Anyways the federal handgun 000 shotshells are 2 1/2 and they're the only ones I'll use. The copper coated pellets reduce the build up of lead in the barrel. I'm a huge fan of my Judge.

DefaultMagnum Judge Rail?

My 3" magnum Judge is strictly for home defense. I have looked and looked and can't find a way to put a tactical light on it. They make a rail for the 2.5" Judge, but it won't fit the magnum model. Anyone have any info or ideas??

There were some new model Judges announced at the shot show this year, seven shots, a 410/45LC/454 model.

I'm not ready to put faith in Taurus yet. Not until their quality departments takes their job more seriously.

Those are some serious backwoods hand cannons.

For those of you who own Judges, what is your intended use for them?
