Default I need info on a Taurus HG-M66-N4

I need help if anyone has any info on a Taurus older model 38 special. Model # HG-M66-N4. I know it shoots 38 but the info I'm looking for is what kind of 38, can it fire 357 like some other 38 can, and any other useful info? Thank you for your advice and help!

NO .38 Special can (or should try to) fire .357 magnum ammo.

.357 magnum can fire .38 Special, but the reverse is not true.

However, the Taurus 66 is not a .38 Special, but a .357 magnum. Should be marked on the gun. If it says .357, can shoot .357 (and .38 Special)

If it says .38 Special, then it is a .38 Special ONLY.

You are right. I had just got through trying to research it on the Web and one of things that kept coming up was the 66. I got my story confused when I was writing it down, as soon as I read what you wrote I realized. I still appreciate your help. Do you think it shoots +P?

All Model 66s are .357 Magnums, which means yes, it can shoot .38 Special +P.
