It is my very first one. It is a Rossi .38 Special, blued, with a 3 inch barrel. I wanted a 4 inch barrel in .357 but they didn't have any. So far it is fairly accurate, and the ammo is a lot cheaper than my .40 S&W. I wanted to know what y'all thought of Rossi pistols. I was actually shopping for a rifle at the time but the Rossi was only $250 and deer season is still months away.
I have a Rossi 357 stainless with a 4" barrel. We have shot it often, took it along on hunting/camping trips. It's not my favorite pistol but one I trust to work and for the price don't mind it getting rough use. I've had mine for five years and never had in issue, I guess I have more than 2,500 rounds put through it and not treated it as kindly as I have my S&W 586 but it has held up well and still looks pretty good.
