Default I Found One!

Ever since I shot the Model 66 I've had my eye out for one. Today I came across one and had to get it. I might have over paid a little, but I couldn't find one anywhere else. It seems to be in really good shape. See pics.

It looks excellent! And pinned and recessed is good.

No. I shot one last weekend and that's what prompted me to buy one. Will leave as is. Trigger pull feels just like the other one (great!) and I like the sights as is.

Round butt, recessed and pinned, looks to be in good shape. Nice find.

The first "issue" these can develop is end shake cylinder. Close the cylinder and try to move it fore and aft. It should have a barely perceptable amount of movement. If it feels like there is any more movement than that, see my tutorial in the submit article section. I can look up the gap specs if you need them. I don't recall them as I have the specific gauges and don't have to measure it.

Appreciate it Robo, good info. There seems to be very little movement at all, but I will read the tutorial anyways.

Since it is a Model 19 base gun, using 158gr ammo would be advised. My M19-4 is outstanding. Enjoy!
