Default how's this price- good or average?

i saw a ruger sercurity six stainless 4 inch barrel with adjustable sights and a orange front sight. at a shop today 357 magnum, lockup was good not rock solid but decent. the gun looked good but had scratches and dings. but the front sight looked replaced and where the pin went in was dinged, also the screw under the cylinder release was boogered up. a set of pachmayer grip it had was needed replaced. i have questions first are there rubber grips out there for the sercurity six that aren't too high?, is the sight and pin anything to worry about?, the screw under the cylinder release is boogered, can it be replaced?, and was the price out the door ok? he told me i could take it home for $200. how's this price? thanks

Going price for a Security Six in good shape around here is $300-$350.

If the lock-up is good and the barrel looks good, I would definitely do it for $200.

Maybe that's just me.

One thing I look for in a used firearm is boogered up screws.
That indicates the insides were probably messed with.

Given that the OP hasn't been back to announce his purchase I would say he passed. Some deals are to good to be true.
