As I mentioned to BlueGuns it was about three months ago when Hickok45 introduced himself stating that he had heard from an acquaintance about FireArmsTalk and that he would be chiming in from time to time. It was nice of him.

And that's why I don't use his vids as a review source when I consider a new purchase. His stuff is purely entertainment to me. Like I said, I like his vids and am a subscriber, I watch all his vids when I get notified that he has posted a new one.

Military training is very similar. You qualify in boot camp. Any other instruction you get with a rifle is just a recap of the instruction you got in boot camp. If repetition works for millions of Americas finest it's got to work for Hickok's 250,000 fans.

If you watch him - and he does comparison tests - you can tell that he prefers one over another, often times. there are also some guns that he just won't shoot - and says so. NAA 22 comes to mind.

He does a very good job! And he dispels some myths too. Such as - you've got to have a long barrel to be able to hit anything at distance. He walks right up to the line and pretty consistently hits his 80 yard gong with a snubnose LCR 38. That's not bad for a hand held 1 7/8 inch barrel revolver!

I've learned a lot. Glad he's there!
