I just inherited this and was wonderin if anyone had personal experience w this model

1) go by the intro and state sections tellin us about yourself. 2) pics are always good and helpful

Hawes - JP Sauer is a well made SA revolver from Germany-
The few I have had held up great

Right on thanks, its stainless w pearl grips, haven't shot it yet, action seems fairly tight

I owned a Hawes Western Marshal in .44mag with stag grips back in the 80's but have never seen one in stainless. Would say its very rare. They did make a Texas Marshal nicklel plated with perlite grips

I don't recall one ever being made in stainless. What you have is nickel plated. They were well made revolvers. I have had a few myself through the years and they were great shooters.
