H&R Trapper worth investment?
 

I found an old H&R trapper online and spoke with the guy selling it. He said it works fine just missing the grips. It's a hundred bucks. I figure I can make some grips and it might be a fun project to restore it. If anyone know anything about it or where I can find parts or if its even worth the investment please let me know.

Whether it's worth it or not is up to you. But from my own experience, I bought cheap top-break revolvers as a kid and restored them to shooting condition. When finished, none were really great guns. But I had expanded my knowledge of how revolvers work and what it took to repair them. The knowledge I gained was priceless.

That would be top dollar for that revolver. But like Bob says it could give you some experience.

Alright thanks. Yeah I wanted to do it for fun but not pay that much. I'm thinking ill offer 50-70 or an old iPod lol
