Default Got an Sp101

With the funds from the XDm I bought a slightly used Ruger Sp101 3" model. I've been after one of these for a while but the wife's LCR had to come first.

Now comes the fun! I've already picked up a blackhawk canted carry holster, 3 boxes of 38special and a box of critical defense .357 magnum.

I'm planning on going back to the range asap(which could be a week or two) and shooting some more paper. I'll shoot mostly 38's a some magnums for fun.

planning on getting badger bootgrips or some other sort of grips.
9# spring kit
smooth up the trigger
hi viz front sight

I'll hand the smithing jobs over to my gunsmith pal to do.

I'm really liking the little wheelguns.

Congrats on the new gun!
Now we want some gun porn

The SP101 is on my wish list, I'm interested in the .327 version.

I'll post some pics soon, but it's just the run of the mill sp101 right now. It has the exposed hammer with the 3 1/16" barrel.
