I have a heritage rough rider. It's a fun gun. I have the model with the 9" barrel. The 9" barrel is a lot of fun and provides an excellent sight plane.

Cimarron makes the Plinkerton that is popular with cowboy action shooters. I have never fired a Plinkerton but it is a very attractive gun. The Plinkerton retails around $160. At that price it's worth a look if you can find one to try out.

I don't know if they've made it that far south yet, but our Government sent some free guns in that direction not to long ago. Keep an eye out for them.
